Our collaboration with Google Spotlight Stories, allowed us to build on our animation and technical expertise. We worked with Patrick Osborne to not only create the score, but also develop the creative workflows and software we needed to tell compelling stories through sound in the new medium of 360 animation. We were left with niche technical knowledge, and a passion for technical-creative problem solving.
We built upon our growing expertise by hiring a multi-discliplinary research team that is uniquely qualified to work on spatial audio and other emerging technologies. The Pollen Research Group (PRG) team brings experience from music, podcasting, data analysis, audio engineering, research, prototyping, and good, old fashioned, roll-up-your-sleeves-and-get-into-it problem solving.
PRG takes on clients from big tech companies who know that audio is central to the user’s experience, and want to build excellent audio into their products from square one. Expert consulting and prototyping illuminates what is possible. Then we provide insight into their user’s needs and priorities through Audio UX research. Finally, distilled insights and data analysis provide guidance to critical decision making.
